PFAS 1633A Accreditation
Metiri Group achieves additional accreditation for PFAS testing.
The EPA Draft Method 1633A standardizes measurement techniques for analytical laboratories for the determination of per- and polyfluoroalkul substances (PFAS). Method 1633A was designed specifically to deal with the difficult challenges faced in testing for PFAS. Adherence to these methods ensures accurate collection, transport, and testing procedures that will produce consistent and accurate results.
As defined by EPA, PFAS are widely used long-lasting chemical components which break down very slowly over time.
Current health concerns that may be related to exposure to PFAS chemicals have been identified by EPA.
