PFAS 1633 Accreditation

Metiri Group achieves additional accreditation for PFAS testing.

Metiri Group continues to lead the way by investing in PFAS testing certifications, capabilities, training, and resources dedicated to solving the PFAS challenges. Every day, new areas of PFAS challenges are identified in water and soil.

The DOD Certification validates the Metiri Group's commitment to quality analytical laboratory services.

The EPA Draft Method 1633 standardizes measurement techniques for analytical laboratories for the determination of per- and polyfluoroalkul substances (PFAS). Method 1633 was designed specifically to deal with the difficult challenges faced in testing for PFAS. Adherence to these methods ensures accurate collection, transport, and testing procedures that will produce consistent and accurate results.

As defined by the EPA, PFAS are widely used long-lasting chemical components which break down very slowly over time.
