Metiri Group appoints Joe DeRaimo as Purchasing Director to lead the company's first dedicated purchasing function.
Metiri Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe DeRaimo as Purchasing Director. In this newly created role, DeRaimo will spearhead the development of Metiri Group’s first dedicated purchasing function. His mandate includes implementing cost improvements, establishing robust procurement processes, and creating systems to enhance purchasing efficiency across the company’s multiple locations.
DeRaimo brings over a decade of experience in category and supply chain management. He is recognized for building value-driven supplier relationships and executing successful negotiations. Most recently, DeRaimo served as Senior Manager, Global Category Management at United Laboratories, where he led sourcing initiatives and inventory analysis.
His background also includes key roles in sourcing and inventory management, positioning him well to drive Metiri Group’s procurement strategy forward.
DeRaimo shared his excitement about joining the organization, stating:
